Anna Mae Walker PGG KS Passed Away at 101Anna Mae Walker, 101 years old, died April 6, 2009, at Presbyterian Manor, Kansas City, Kan. She was also a past guardian of Bethel #2, Kansas City, Kan., and a past grand guardian of the state of Kansas, International Order of Job's Daughters. Her family invites friends and relatives to call at the Highland Park Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, April 13, which will include an Eastern Star ceremony at 6:30 p.m. Final celebration of her life at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, April 14, at White Church Christian Church, In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Job's Daughters "HIKE" Fund, Hearing Impaired Kids Endowments, c/o Charles Terrill, Executive Secretary, 10115 Cherry Hill Place, Springhill, FL 34608-7116. We are all very saddened by the loss of Chuck McElfresh. Chuck passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2009. He was an extremely dedicated supporter for Job’s Daughters. His wife Sharon has been the Supreme Deputy to Iowa for many years and Chuck was always been with her, supporting and assisting Sharon any way he could. This year, Chuck was serving as Chairman of the Supreme Distribution Committee. Please remember Sharon in your prayers. Cards may be sent to Sharon at the address listed in the Supreme Directory. Services The Funeral will be held on Wednesday, April 1st at 11:00 am at the First Presbyterian Church, 105 First Corso, Nebraska City. Lunch immediately following at the church. Richard Clore, the brother of our Associate Supreme Guardian Bob Clore, passed away on March 9, 2009 after a long illness. He will be cremated and memorial services will be held later this spring. IDAHO OFFICIAL VISIT CHANGE Mom Marilyn Olson, SG, reports that the Supreme Visit to Idaho scheduled for January 8-10, 2009 has been postponed. Idaho will still be having their JDU during that time, but unfortunately the Supreme Family will not be able to be in attendance. The visit has been re-scheduled for May 23-25, 2009. |

PHYLLIS BREMMER, PGG OK PASSED AWAY She passed away October 6, 2008 after a lengthy battle with cancer. 50+ year member of Job's Daughters International Recipient of the Royal Purple Degree, 1986 Past Bethel Guardian, Bethel 6, Amity Lodge, Oklahoma City Past Grand Guardian, 1992 Grand Bethel Guardian Emeritus Oklahoma Alumni of the Year, 2006 Past Grand Secretary, 1997-2005 Phyllis was a very active member of many organizations, Eastern Star, Amaranth, White Shrine of Jerusalem, and Job's Daughters Funeral arrangements have not been finalized and will be forth coming, however I have spoken with the family and can share the following: The funeral home is Mercer Adams Funeral, 3925 N. Asbury, Bethany The services will be at St. Mark's United Methodist Church, 8140 NW 36th, Bethany - Services Saturday October 11, 2008 at 2pm.. Secretary Featured In Newspaper Article Missouri's Grand Secretary, Mom Ginny Goede, PHQ, PGG, was featured in an article in the Suburban Journal, a St. Louis based newspaper. She was selected as the Neighbor of the Week, and had a very nice write-up. For those who may not know Ginny, she is a Past Honored Queen of Bethel #21, Past Bethel Guardian of Bethel #43, Past Grand Guardian of Missouri, and has been the Grand Secretary of Missouri for over 20 years.
