UPDATE: Oklahoma PAGG re-diagnosed with cancer

Travis Fast, PAGG of Oklahoma, has been re-diagnosed with cancer. Travis had Colon Cancer last year. He was diagnosed in January, had a peach size tumor, surgery, chemo, etc. and when he had his Pet Scan in September, he had no signs of cancer. Two weeks ago, Travis had a second Pet Scan that showed a spot on his liver. They sent him for an Ultra Sound which confirmed it. Travis underwent a biopsy on Monday to determine if the spot was malignant and it was. He has had an MRI and will have a Colonoscopy to determine where the tumor is exactly. He will meet with the general surgeon Tuesday morning, April 7th to make some surgery decisions. Below is the description Travis asked to have sent out:

"There is a 3cm x 3cm x 3cm mass (ping pong ball sized) on my liver. They are running a couple more tests to be sure there are no more spots, and the exact location on the liver. On Tuesday we will find out the results and probably a surgery date. I will have to undergo more chemotherapy, probably a stronger poison this time. As far as the prognosis, we are optimistic at this time, but we don't have much else to go on. The mass on the liver is from the colon cancer. This classifies me as Stage 4 cancer. Out of 4 stages."

Travis and his family need all of our prayers. He is so much a part of our lives and is such a good man. He has done so much for the Oklahoma Bethels and our girls. If any of you have questions or good will wishes, you may send them directly to him at travisfast@cox.net. The past two weeks have been very difficult, but as usual, Travis kids around with all of us, and is keeping his head up."
